Escape From Mystwood Mansion is a first-person, escape room style, puzzle adventure. You take the role of a delivery driver, with a package to deliver to Mystwood Mansion. The game scored our highest rating and you know our motto: when we love a game, we try to make a guide!
The in-game hints are really helpful, but don’t give the final code. So this Escape From Mystwood Mansion Guide will give you some starting ideas for each area, and the puzzle codes (click on the blue writing to reveal the answer!). We’ll also reveal how to unlock the final vault!
Good Luck!

Escape From Mystwood Mansion Guide – Entrance Hall

The Entrance Hall gives you a taster for the kind of puzzles which fill Mystwood Mansion. As you enter the hall, you will see a circular table with a vase of yellow flowers. There is a note propped against the vase, and this is the best starting point. Remember to ‘inspect’ the note, by pressing X. Other than that, make sure you explore the whole of the Entrance Hall, including upstairs. Don’t forget you can crouch/stand by pressing Y.
To enter a code into a lock, get closer enough to ‘inspect’ the lock. Move the cursor over the first dial. Pressing A will select the dial, and the highlight will vanish, however you can now move the left stick to rotate the numbers. You do not need to be exact. Press B once you have the dial in roughly the right place, the dial will click round to the nearest number and you can then repeat the process with the other dials.

Escape From Mystwood Mansion Guide – Office

One of the first things you notice, when entering the Office, is the large clock with 5 hands. As you scan clockwise round the room, you will see: a TV with a note on the screen; a locked cupboard; a bookcase with 5 empty plinths; a wall map; a large locked chest; and in the lower area, a couple of cosy chairs with a roaring fire. However, there is no obvious door to escape from.
As with many escape rooms, you can do some of the puzzles in any order. For the Office, I suggest you start with either the TV or large locked chest. Don’t worry about how untidy you leave the room, so search through the drawers, cupboards and book shelves!
