Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma x SoS: Grand Bazaar

Marvelous has brought us new downloadable content for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma that pairs it with one of my favourite games for this year, STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar.
This free content introduces livestock from Grand Bazaar into the world of Azuma, including the beloved cow, chicken, alpaca, and sheep, along with some new recipes for decorations and buildings.
To start, you’ll have to at least have completed the “Guardian’s Grove Lumber Hunt” quest. Once that’s complete, you’ll get a special request, “A Strange Cow,” on the Ema Request Board back in the village.
Sumikkogurashi Create a Wonderful Sumikko Island Coming to Switch

Nippon Columbia is bringing a dose of wholesome charm to your Switch with Sumikkogurashi Create a Wonderful Sumikko Island!, launching via the Nintendo eShop in the west on 20 November. This one was quite the surprise for me, one of our writers pointed it out. Let’s see what we can expect.
You’ll build a seasonal island alongside the lovable Sumikko crew—Shirokuma, Penguin?, Tonkatsu, Neko and Tokage. It looks like a colourful, laid-back game where you’ll gather materials, craft decorations, and fulfil time-sensitive requests to boost your island’s popularity. As you unlock new features, you’ll expand the island and welcome even more Sumikko friends.
Expect seasonal events, limited-time shop items, and a “Joy Meter” to keep your Sumikko happy. You can freely place decorations to match the current season and earn “Season Points” that help shape your island’s vibe. With Sumikko wandering around and interacting with your creations, it’s all about creating a space that feels warm, playful, and just right for the moment.
Wholesome Indie Debut Serving up Handcrafted Culinary Dioramas

Indie developer Mimmox has announced the launch of UMAMI, a cozy 3D puzzle game now available on Steam. Designed as the ultimate comfort experience, UMAMI blends mouthwatering food designs with wholesome, stress-free gameplay.
Players fit together wooden blocks to complete 15 hand-painted food dioramas, each a delightful dish brought to life with artistry and charm. From towering stacks of pancakes and gravity-defying burgers to freshly rolled onigiri and festive holiday sweets, every level serves up a feast for the eyes.
Inside the UMAMI recipe book, cuddly animal chefs like Chef Bumblebake and Chef Sushiba guide you through international cuisine. Along the way, you’ll discover hidden animals to pet and collectable cards to unlock, adding layers of warmth and surprise to each puzzle.
With no timers, no penalties, and no wrong moves, UMAMI encourages players to relax, explore, and savour the process. It’s more than a puzzle game—it’s a handcrafted invitation to unwind, play, and enjoy.

Colossal Order, which has worked with Paradox for over fifteen years, will deliver a final round of updates before stepping away, including the much-anticipated Bike Patch—adding bicycles, Old Town buildings, bug fixes, and improvements—as well as a beta rollout of asset mod support in the Editor.
With Iceflake Studios now at the helm, both Paradox and Colossal Order expressed gratitude to the Cities community and excitement for the creative opportunities ahead. You can find the full details here.
