Best Games of 2024: Lynne’s Choice
So many games filling my screen,
Some good, some bad, some in between.
Stories of witches, magic and more,
Farming adventures, cuteness galore.
But which ones stand out from all the rest,
Deemed worthy for me to call ‘The Best’?
The first two are gardens, but different, you see,
One The Garden Path, the other Garden of the Sea.
Both go on journeys with truths to reveal.
Stories of Wanderings, growing plants to appeal.
Travel the sea to release statues of stone,
In both create a garden to call your own.
The next is a winner, with plenty to find.
Collecting, quest giving (so good to be kind)
A mystery to uncover, dungeons to fight,
to rescue and restore the sacred tree for light.
With cooking and farming, fishing and catching,
Everafter Falls is my ‘happy’ matching.
The last, an old favourite, updated again
The bookseller, good neighbours, a day of green rain.
New speech, new outfits, new items and such.
It’s simply the best, I love it so much!
It brings joy and happiness, so pleasant and calm.
There’s nothing quite like my Stardew Valley beach farm.
